Tonya Marvin, Founder of TRR Ministries
Tonya Marvin, Founder of TRR Ministries, finds joy in teaching and equipping the church. She has been called to encourage believers by being a catalyst to mature the church to the full and complete measure of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13) Tonya delights in helping others to hear the voice of God and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be disciples who make disciples. (Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 28:19) She loves witnessing God transform lives, revive hearts and renew minds (Romans 12:2) and spends much of her time helping Christ followers identify their spiritual gifts and become their part of the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12-14, Ephesians 4) Tonya has been married to her husband Mark for 36 years. Mark and Tonya reside in rural Findlay, OH and Greenville, SC.

Are you interested in hosting a retreat or conference? We would love to speak with you and answer any questions you may have. We do not charge the host for the retreats or conferences. God made it clear from the beginning that He will provide all we need as we answer His call, and He is a promise keeper! We do require a place to stay and will possibly request help with travel expenses depending on how far we need to travel to be with you.
The Fundamentals of Christianity
This retreat will lead people to know Jesus as their brother, God as their Father, and the Holy Spirit as "power from on high." Expect to learn to hear the voice of God, to close the door to the enemy, and to walk in the authority that is yours due to Jesus Christ. This retreat will leave you wanting to use your Spiritual Gifts and be an active part of the Body of Christ.
Getting Plugged In
Pastors, are only a small percentage of your congregation actually ACTIVE in your Body of Christ? This retreat will help each person to learn to hear from God, know their personal spiritual gifts, and be encouraged to plug in to the Body of Christ.
Superwoman is Frazzled
This retreat offers teachings, exercises, and time for reflection on six topics. We prefer to offer this retreat beginning on a Friday evening with a session titled “Superwoman’s Balancing Act.” Saturday’s sessions include “Superwoman’s Savior,” “Superwoman’s Helper,” “Superwoman’s Secrets,” and “Superwoman’s Freedom.” Sunday morning’s closing session is “Superwoman’s Bridegroom.”
Tonya’s messages, along with the personal experiences offered by the TRR Team, are life altering. We have witnessed many women be set free from striving and bondage in many areas of life at this retreat. The theme verse for “Superwoman is Frazzled” is Matthew 11:28-29--“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
The Tree of Life From Roots to Fruit
Do you find yourself struggling to bear the Fruit of the Spirit? Do you sometimes bear bitter or even rotten fruit and you aren’t sure why? Do you desire more love, joy, and peace in your life? This retreat may be exactly what your heart is searching for. Tonya will guide you through scriptural truth, self-examination, and a “roots to fruit” exercise that will help you to discover the “roots” to whatever fruit you are bearing. Jesus came that you may have life and have it in abundance! This retreat is one that offers heart healing and the freedom to living life in abundance. Tonya has taught the “Tree of Life from Roots to Fruit” as a weekend retreat, a day retreat, and a two-hour teaching session.
We Are the Body
“What is my purpose in life?” “What are spiritual gifts?” “Am I spiritually gifted?” This retreat will answer these questions and many more. We Are the Body explores the truth--that like Jesus--we are each chosen, blessed, and broken to be given. This retreat includes an in-depth study of the gifts of the Spirit and each person is given the opportunity to discover their own spiritual gifts. This is an awesome retreat! You will gain knowledge and an excitement to go into the world using your God given gifts, talents, and passions--for you are a part of the Body of Christ. This retreat is offered as a half day or full weekend retreat.
The More of God
Tonya intimately shares what happened in her life when she went searching for more of God. She will share the difference between a journey with God and an adventure with Him. You will have the opportunity to discover more of God for yourself through teachings, worship, soaking prayer, and more. If you are seeking the presence and movement of the Holy Spirit, you will surely encounter Him at this retreat. The More of God is offered as a weekend or a day retreat.

This teaching if offered as a ten-week in-depth study of the Lord’s Prayer. This Bible Study is only offered locally.
